Monday

Daddy and I stayed in all morning  while Mummy, Grandad and Granny Sue went into Ambleside for an Apple Pie and Bath buns from the Apple Pie shop.  Mummy bought me a hat and gloves.  I wasn’t very tired and so I only had a little sleep and then played with Daddy.

Grandad gave me lunch on the patio and we then did a very nice walk, via Elterwater, across to Little Langdale and then back via the Cumbrian Way.  I sat in my backpack again.  We stopped for lunch in a lovely meadow in Little Langdale and I had a bit of a frolic.

It poured with rain as soon as we walked through the door of the cottage, not ideal for our barbecue.
